The concert, led by conductor Yu Lu and performed by the Ningbo Symphony Orchestra, will feature two well-known Beethoven overtures and his celebrated Symphony No 5.
The concert marks a tribute to a significant chapter in China's musical history. It has also been staged in Italy, Austria, Poland, Slovenia, Bulgaria, and South Korea, receiving high praise.

In 1959, Beethoven's Symphony No 9 was performed for the first time by the China National Symphony Orchestra under conductor Yan Liangkun. In 1977, the orchestra debuted Symphony No 5 — known as the Fate Symphony — under conductor Li Delun.
Now, nearly five decades later, audiences can gather in comfort at the 1,000-seat Wuzhen Grand Theatre to hear the same music that once captivated a generation.
