Jiaxing University in East China's Zhejiang province hosted a China-Vietnam youth speech event on Dec 5, bringing together six representative speakers from both countries and an audience of about 400 participants.

Six speakers delivered themed presentations on strengthening personal ideals and pursuing collective development. They shared insights on the historical paths of both countries and encouraged young participants to contribute to future growth in their fields. Business leaders from Hangzhou and Vietnam discussed the impact of digital transformation, highlighting the role of youth in advancing science and technology. Community leaders from China and Vietnam introduced examples of rural initiatives and sustainable programs shaped by youth involvement.

The event also featured cultural performances. Youth participants from both countries joined in singing popular folk songs that symbolized the friendship between China and Vietnam.

This year's program includes exchanges in education, technology, and culture, all aimed at deepening communication among young people. The visit to Zhejiang offered participants the chance to learn about the local history and engage in discussions on future development.
