Zhejiang Worldwide Innovation Material, based in Jiashan county, Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, has achieved a 31 percent year-on-year increase in output in the first three quarters, reflecting the company's transition from traditional packaging to advanced materials for 3C electronics, new energy, and lithium batteries.

Strong in-house research has driven multiple breakthroughs, including thermal-management materials for wireless charging, conductive copper foil for OLED backplanes, acoustic components for smartphones, and battery packaging materials. These innovations have been widely adopted in mobile phones by leading brands such as Huawei, Apple, Samsung, and Oppo.

A newly developed dual-conduction nano carbon-copper material, based on ultra-thin 4.5-micrometer copper foil, has entered trial production and is expected to reach mass production by next April. The product balances conductivity, heat dissipation, scratch resistance, and corrosion resistance, making it ideal for use in laptops, tablets, and smartphones.

Technical challenges — particularly in precision and formulation for new materials — led the company to partner with universities, research institutes, and domestic and international suppliers. Strategic collaboration and automation upgrades have improved production efficiency, addressed safety and stability concerns, and strengthened client trust.

Annual R&D spending has exceeded 5 percent of sales over the past three years, supporting the company's 37 patents — including two invention patents — and underpinning its shift toward high-tech material solutions.
