The Spring Festival travel rush began on Feb 2 in Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, with Jiaxingnan Railway Station and Jiaxing Nanhu Airport hosting events to celebrate the season.

At Jiaxingnan Railway Station, members of the Jiaxing Calligraphy Association wrote Spring Festival couplets and fu characters for passengers. A highlight of the event was a smart robotic dog that handed out customized fu characters and posed for photos, adding a fun, modern twist to the traditional Spring Festival experience. A free photo booth also allowed passengers to capture family moments and take home instant prints as keepsakes.

At the same time, Jiaxing Nanhu Airport welcomed passengers with similar cultural events. The Spring Festival atmosphere was evident in the calligraphy area, where passengers could receive custom-made couplets, while a traditional crafts zone invited them to try their hand at paper-cutting and rubbing techniques.

A robot dog dressed in a panda uniform also roamed the airport, spreading joy by delivering Spring Festival greetings and posing for pictures with passengers.
