A shopping rush resembling China's Spring Festival travel season is unfolding at China Garment City in Pinghu, East China's Zhejiang province, as crowds flock to the market ahead of the holiday.

The market, one of China's largest down jacket markets, has seen a daily average of 80,000 visits on weekends. Since the retail market opened in January, sales have increased 10 percent year-on-year.

The down jackets at China Garment City offer high quality at lower prices. The product labels also include QR codes for detailed information on filling material, fluff content, and cleanliness.

Store managers like Wang Jiaru at Xinyueli stay busy with hundreds of customers each day. Wang shared that the store plans to introduce more than 300 new styles this year and is already preparing for a sales conference in May.

The market remains bustling every evening, with over 2,000 stores offering more than 20,000 jacket styles to customers who are eagerly anticipating family reunions during the Spring Festival holiday.
