Zicheng Ruins Park to host Lantern Festival celebrations

The Zicheng Ruins Park in Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, is set to bring the city to life with a series of exciting Lantern Festival events on March 3.
A mix of activities, including dragon lantern parades, lantern-making, immersive intangible cultural heritage experiences, and traditional opera performances, is planned, with plenty of gifts to be won.
Attendees will be able to interact with the dragon and make wishes for good luck during the dragon lantern parade and create personalized lanterns at the DIY workshop, with the designated "Baifu Lantern" area allowing visitors to write their wishes. Other activities include making rice dumplings, shaping cakes, and participating in lantern assembly challenges.
Traditional opera performances will immerse visitors in ancient times, with opportunities to take photos with the performers and receive small gifts for completing tasks.
With numerous interactive surprises, this Lantern Festival in Jiaxing promises an unforgettable experience filled with festive joy and rich cultural traditions.
