The final round of the regular season of the Jiaxing City Football Championship League was held at the Grand Canal Sports and Cultural Park in Xiuzhou district, Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, on March 1.

After the matches, four semifinalists — Xiuzhou, Pinghu, Tongxiang, and Nanhu — will return to the field on March 7 for the next round of competition.

The matches attracted attention not only for their fierce competition but also for the high-quality facilities at the sports park. The venue uses a FIFA-certified hybrid turf, which is designed to rapidly drain water after rainfall, ensuring smooth play even in rainy conditions. Many players expressed satisfaction with the pitch's quality, noting that the surface allowed for effective control even in rainy conditions.

Zhang Yu, project leader of the Grand Canal Sports and Cultural Park, said the park was built to meet the demand for local sports facilities and to support the region's cultural and tourism development.

Since November 2025, the park has hosted a range of events, attracting teams from across the Yangtze River Delta region. Plans for 2026 include further developing the venue into a sports and tourism hub, with year-round events that encourage travel and sports participation.

Jiaxing's soccer scene is rapidly growing, with 689 soccer fields across the city. The city's bureau of sports focuses on expanding and optimizing the layout of soccer facilities to meet public demand, ensuring convenient access for residents while strengthening the city's sports and cultural integration.
