Zhejiang Jiaheng Intelligent Equipment Manufacturing, based in Pinghu, a county-level city in Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, has become a key player in the 3D printing industry. With over 7,000 clients in its database, the company counts renowned brands such as Lancome, Prada, and SAIC Group among its customers.
In traditional manufacturing, developing a new product often requires designing molds, building models, and other steps. With 3D printing, however, Jiaheng is able to create product prototypes directly from digital blueprints, significantly accelerating testing and production.
The company focuses on new product development, product design, sample processing, and small-batch production. It operates more than 400 3D printers capable of handling various materials such as resin, nylon, and metal. This allows for highly efficient and customizable manufacturing. For example, producing a two-wheeled product typically takes about a week using traditional methods, but only three days with 3D printing, while reducing costs by around 60 percent.
Jiaheng's clients span a wide range of industries, from robotics and automotive to medical devices and cultural products. Notable recent projects include creating 3,600 sets of limited-edition Prada accessories and models for Lancome's lipsticks. Jiaheng also contributed to the "Qiantang Charm" signs used during the 19th Hangzhou Asian Games opening ceremony.
