A delegation from the Sino-German Cultural and Economic Association visited Jiaxing in East China's Zhejiang province on April 10 to explore the local investment environment and deepen bilateral cooperation. During the visit, they held discussions and conducted site inspections across multiple sectors.

The delegation toured the Zhejiang Sino-German (Jiaxing) Industrial Cooperation Park, a provincial-level platform approved in August 2015, with a planned area of 4.04 square kilometers. The park focuses on advanced manufacturing, including high-end equipment and key automotive components, and serves as a hub for German-funded enterprises.

Delegates reviewed infrastructure development and visited Foton ZF Light-Duty Automatic Transmission (Jiaxing), where they examined the company's operations, research capabilities, and production layout.

At the Jiaxing Economic and Technological Development Zone, local officials outlined regional development, business conditions, and cooperation with German partners. They introduced policy measures to support foreign investment and detailed service mechanisms for investors, followed by discussions on project coordination and implementation. Both sides reached an initial consensus on strengthening industrial cooperation and resource integration.

A separate forum organized by the city's foreign affairs office brought together representatives from government, industry, academia, and the German delegation. Discussions covered trade, youth exchanges, cultural interaction, and educational collaboration. German representatives emphasized that combining German technology with China's market offers mutual benefits and expressed interest in expanding engagement, particularly among younger generations.
