Jiaxing in East China's Zhejiang province is set to unveil its first-ever pet-friendly region at Qianliji Cultural Park, transforming a historic industrial space into a modern haven for pet lovers. Opening with the city's first Pet Show Planet on April 28, the region combines retro architecture with the booming pet economy to create a unique experience for both pets and their owners.

Qianliji, located along the Grand Canal, integrates 10 historic grain warehouses and factory buildings, marking a blend of history and contemporary trends. The region will offer a variety of pet-friendly businesses, leisure areas, and lifestyle experiences, making it Jiaxing's first pet-friendly industrial ecosystem and a trendsetting destination for pet lovers.

The project focuses on "human-pet social culture", with the goal of filling a gap in Jiaxing's pet-friendly complexes. It will include six core areas: a pet industry exhibition and exchange zone, leisure areas for pets and owners, a pet fashion zone, an art and creative space, pet-friendly dining venues, and a pet-friendly accommodation area. These spaces are designed to provide a seamless experience for both pets and their owners.

With its innovative approach to blending old buildings with new pet-friendly services, Qianliji is set to be a model for future urban development, helping to promote tourism, consumption, and cultural exchange in the region.
