A vibrant Dragon Boat Festival celebration took place in Shuangxi village, Haining, East China's Zhejiang province, on June 13, attracting a group of international students from Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics who experienced traditional Chinese culture firsthand.

The event featured a bustling fair with activities ranging from zongzi (rice dumpling) wrapping and realgar wine dotting to lacquer fan crafting.

Among the participants, an Indonesian sophomore whose Chinese name is Zou Shengsheng was captivated by the traditional fan-making process and skillfully created a round fan inscribed with "Duanwu Ankang" (May you be healthy and safe during Dragon Boat Festival).

Russian junior student whose Chinese name is Tingting, experiencing an authentic Dragon Boat Festival for the first time, proudly wrapped her own zongzi and patiently learned to sew a tiger-head hat from a skilled artisan. "The most interesting thing is that I wrapped a zongzi by myself, and it's so beautiful," she beamed.

The international students also participated in a catwalk show dressed in traditional Chinese attire, including elegant qipao (traditional dresses) and mamianqun (horse-face skirt), fully immersing themselves in the festive atmosphere.
