CenoBots, a cleaning robot company based in Tongxiang, a county-level city in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province, has delivered 600 cleaning robots to stores operated by British retailer Tesco. This marks the largest completed overseas delivery project involving Chinese commercial cleaning robots.

Founded in 2022, the company now sells its products in more than 40 countries, with sales growing more than threefold annually. Its robots have also been deployed at Tesla factories, Amazon warehouses, and airports in Singapore.

The company focused on technology development before expanding overseas, spending more than a year developing its CenoVerse model platform and testing its robots in hospitals, shopping malls, airports, factories, and supermarkets.

Powered by its proprietary large model, the robots combine visual perception, 3D LiDAR, and other sensors to identify people, moving obstacles, ground conditions, and cleaning targets in real time. In warehouses, they can assess forklift speed and direction to decide whether to detour or wait. In malls, they can adapt to changing layouts without rebuilding maps.

Co-founder Shen Jizhong said the company is developing robots for vertical cleaning, including sinks and toilets, with trial products expected next year.
