The Shaoxing Lu Xun Memorial Hall held an exhibition themed on Lu Xun, one of China's most influential writers, and his communist friends on June 14.

The exhibition is part of the museum's activities to mark the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China as well as the 140th birthday of Lu Xun.

Lu Xun was not a CPC member, but he did show consistent support for the Chinese revolution throughout his life. He once extoled CPC members as fighters for the existence and happiness of the Chinese.

The exhibition showcases Lu's friendship with 28 well-known CPC members including Chen Duxiu, Li Dazhao, Qu Qiubai and Soong Ching Ling.

In 1915, a group of intellectuals including Chen Duxiu, one of the CPC's founders, and Lu Xun, launched the New Culture Movement to modernize the nation.

The exhibition consists of 64 sections, with each telling a touching story. It will last till late July.
