Yellow rice wine brand Kuaijishan and blockchain solution provider AntChain launched their "digital cellar" for yellow rice wine in Shaoxing on Aug 25.

The Shaoxing-based wine brewer said that the digital cellar is the country's first blockchain product specifically designed for yellow rice wine.

In the Kuaijishan storage center, each jar of wine has its own unique non-fungible token, which guarantees its quality and makes it more valuable to collectors. After buying a jar, the customer will enjoy at least five years of free storage service and can have it delivered anytime.

"Owning a cellar is a luxury, but we make it feasible for every buyer," said a manager of the product. He added that their service has solved the problems that have been bothering yellow rice wine lovers for decades.

"It's a perfect combination of traditional culture with modern technology," said Yu Weiqiang, president of Kuaijishan. "It will help us promote yellow rice wine at home and abroad."
