Nineteen-year-old Zhen Weijie from Shaoxing took part in the men's ski jumping team event at Beijing 2022 on Feb 14, becoming the first athlete from Zhejiang province to participate in the Winter Olympic Games.

"Just completing the event safely is good enough as the team has only been training for three years," said Zhen Chunyun, the father of Zhen Weijie, when watching the event on TV.

The Chinese team did not qualify for the finals.
