2nd National Industrial and Information Technology Skills Competition finals commence in Shaoxing

The finals of the 2023 National Professional Skills Competition and the 2nd National Industrial and Information Technology Skills Competition began in Keqiao district, Shaoxing, Zhejiang province on Nov 16.

The competition is co-hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, Ministry of Education, All-China Federation of Trade Unions, and Central Committee of the Communist Youth League.

Over the next three days, 1,055 players on 457 teams from 29 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps and 34 central state-owned enterprises will compete in the competition.

The event is divided into four categories: auto chip development and application, industrial big data algorithms, industrial Internet security, and the development and application of 5G plus virtual reality.

The competition will feature a number of supporting activities, including professional seminars and industrial talent development forums, to provide a platform for talents to showcase their skills, communicate and learn from each other.

It will also comprehensively apply new information technologies like 5G, artificial intelligence and big data to realize the informatization of services.

In addition, each event will be live-broadcasted to present the latest achievements in the application of new technologies and new skills to all walks of life.
