The azaleas in Lushan village, Xiaguan town, Shangyu district, Shaoxing, have entered their prime viewing period, with the blooming season lasting until the end of April. Since 2021, the village has been clearing and nurturing the original azalea plants, developing an expansive sea of flowers over the years.

It has now become a popular tourist destination in the mountainous areas of Shangyu, attracting over 2,000 visitors a day, mainly from places such as Hangzhou, Shanghai, and Ningbo.

The flower sea in Lushan village is open for free, and features natural flower viewing and photography experiences. Visitors have nicknamed it the "wild photo studio". The flower sea has spurred the development of local businesses such as farm stays, guesthouses, and small shops, boosting villagers' incomes.
