Shaoxing's Zhuji has been building the "Good Neighbor: Citywide Mutual Aid" service brand since the start of this year to foster neighborly community bonds. The pilot program now covers 25 urban communities, connecting over 17,000 residents through 242 WeChat groups and 39 offline mutual aid stations. Supported by 35 volunteer teams of over 980 members, the initiative has hosted more than 3,000 mutual aid activities, achieving a 98.76 percent timely response rate and 98.02 percent resident satisfaction.

Over the past six months, warmth has gradually permeated daily life. In Nanmen community, skilled volunteers respond swiftly to convenience hotline calls, fixing leaking pipes and other household problems. In Yuedu community, property staff member Aunt Lyu helps residents walk their dogs in the neighborhood.

According to an official from the Zhuji Municipal Committee Social Work Department, future efforts will focus on identifying skilled individuals among veteran Party members, retired teachers, and younger seniors to cultivate community-based core teams. While digital services continue to be upgraded, traditional channels such as phone appointments and offline registration will be retained.
