Zhiyan Ancient Village in Lanxi city, Zhejiang province will soon welcome 26 foreign students from famous universities including Tsinghua University, Peking University and Zhejiang University during the approaching Spring Festival.

The 800-year-old village has hosted numerous foreign university students in the past, including 45 students last August during an activity themed "living in Jinhua's ancient villages", as well as 16 students who came to the town for a cultural exchange activity last September.

The 26 students, hailing from 17 countries including America, Mexico, Germany, will arrive at the city on Jan 23 and are due to experience a wide range of traditional Spring Festival activities and customs, such as writing Spring Festival couplets, preparing the Family Reunion Dinner, admiring Wuju Opera, as well as trying local delicacies.
