Lantern shows expect to dazzle Hangzhou
Grand Canal Lantern Show
Date: Feb 10-12
Location: Gongshu district
About ten communities in Gongshu district will have lantern shows from Feb 10 to 12. There will also be a variety of cultural activities for visitors to experience at the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal Museum, the Canal Culture Square and the Workmanship Demonstration Pavilion.
Boats travelling between West Lake Culture Square and the Canal Culture Square will transport visitors to enjoy the wonderful light shows along the canal during the Lantern Festival.

Xianghu Lake lantern show
Date: Feb 9-12
Location: Xianghu scenic area, Xiaoshan district
The Xianghu scenic area will be decorated with arrays of lanterns for the festival. A swimming competition will also take place on the afternoon of Feb 11 to add additional excitement to the festive atmosphere at Xianghu Lake.
Yuhang Lantern Show
Date: Feb 10-11
Location: Linping street in Yuhang district
Red lanterns have lit up Linping street since Jan 20. On Feb 10 and 11, a lantern riddles guessing activity will be staged for the public at People's Square. There will also be free cultural performances from Feb 10 to 12 at the square.
