Yiwu to host China International Electronic Commerce Expo

The 2017 China International Electronic Commerce Expo, the largest expo of its kind in China, will take place from April 11 to 13 in Zhejiang's Yiwu, the world-renowned wholesale market city.

The expo will feature a display of the latest achievements of e-commerce research and applications, technologies and products from home and abroad and e-commerce companies across its 50,000 square meter area.

Cross-border e-commerce will be under the spotlight of this year's expo. World famous e-commerce platforms like Google and Amazon, social media website Linkedin, logistics company UPS and others from around the world will make an appearance in Yiwu.

Local Zhejiang companies will showcase their innovation in combining online and offline business at the expo, providing an experience for traditional businesses to expand their markets.

The expo will also invite renowned e-commerce companies and experts from ten countries, including Japan, Russia and India, to share their experience in a selection of forums. A variety of seminars and promotional conferences will be held to boost exchanges between exhibitors and visitors, according to the organizing committee. Cultural activities, including a sports meeting and an art festival, will also be unveiled during the expo, highlighting the vitality of e-commerce.
