Xitang scenic spot, a 5A scenic spot, established an alliance with two counterparts in Jiashan, a county in Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, local media reported on April 3.

The triple alliance targets the high-quality development of all-for-one tourism in Jiashan by accelerating the recovery of the local tourism industry and promoting resource sharing and market expansion among scenic spots.

"Xitang scenic spot can sell the culturally creative products produced by two other allies, Yunlanwan Spring Water and Smile Chocolate Village, and vice versa," said Lu Feng, deputy director of the management committee of Xitang scenic spot. He added that such an alliance can also help tourists to enjoy a more thorough visit to Jiashan.

"To establish a tourism alliance is an iconic step for further cooperation among tourism companies in Jiaxing," noted Chen Jianjiang, deputy director of Jiaxing Municipal Bureau of Culture, Broadcasting, Television and Tourism, hoping that they will expand their cooperation to more fields, such as travel agencies and hotels.

The three scenic spots have also issued 19 million yuan ($2.69 million) worth of coupons to tourists.

They can receive two 50-yuan coupons if they purchase tickets (not including discount tickets) at tourist centers, which can then be used in designated restaurants, homestays, bars and handicraft stores as well as for taking a boat ride at the scenic spots.

Besides, Xitang scenic spot has also cooperated with Nanhu Lake, another 5A scenic spot in Jiaxing with charming natural scenery, since last month and the two sides will launch coupon tickets in the near future to attract more tourists.
