Construction on the Tiantai Mountain Four Seasons Ice and Snow Park is currently in full swing in Taizhou.

The park is expected to be put into trial operations in August.

The park, situated in Longhuangtang village, Tiantai county, is funded by Greentown Group and will cover an area of 79.4 mu and cost a total of 800 million yuan.

It will include an indoor space with a temperature of minus 3 degrees Celsius throughout the year, making it the only indoor ski resort to feature ice and snow entertainment in East China.

Its architecture style will draw on elements from lotuses, given Tiantai Mountain is the cradle of the Tiantai Sect of Chinese Buddhism.

In addition to the basic ice and snow entertainment facilities, the project will also include areas for children's entertainment areas, landscapes, and performances, among other things.

The park is expected to appeal to tourists as there are only three indoor ski resorts within 150 kilometers of the park.

Experts predict that the park will boost local tourism, filling a glaring void in local winter tourism attractions.
