Deputies from Zhejiang province to the third session of the 13th National People's Congress had submitted a total of 40 motions to the congress as of noon on May 25, the submission deadline, 17 of which focus on public healthcare and environmental protection.

The first motion submitted by the delegation involved designating August 15 as National Ecological Civilization Day.

The delegation had also submitted 443 proposals and suggestions as of noon on May 25.

The motions, proposals, and suggestions revolve around economic development, poverty alleviation, pollution control, reform and opening-up, the integration of the Yangtze River Delta region, and more.
