The fourth session of the 12th Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference commenced at the Zhejiang Great Hall of the People in the provincial capital of Hangzhou on Jan 25.

A total of 41 proposals made by members of the CPPCC Zhejiang committee over the past year were shared at the opening ceremony.

The proposals involved epidemic control, grassroots governance, talent recruitment, educational reform, and much more.

A total of 869 proposals were submitted to the CPPCC Zhejiang committee in 2020, of which 763 were acted upon by the provincial government.
