The 2021 Zhejiang Provincial Government Work Report, released at the opening ceremony of the fifth session of the 13th Zhejiang Provincial People's Congress on Jan 26, canvassed the province's major achievements during the 13th Five-Year Plan (2016-20) period.

Hu Haifeng, Party secretary of Lishui city in East China's Zhejiang province, stressed at the government work report deliberations that the metropolis should consciously implement the provincial government work report and aim to accelerate a high-quality leap forward in its development.

Hu pointed out that, under the guidance of Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee and Government, Lishui had made great gains in 2020.

These included the launch of the country's first local GEP – gross ecosystem product – accounting standard, as well as the establishment of the first railway lines in four remote areas.

Hu also expressed the hope that the ecological product value realization mechanism pilot work in Lishui would get more support at the provincial level.
