Hangzhou Future Sci-Tech City a hub for skilled workers

Hangzhou Future Sci-Tech City has strong appeal for skilled workers, as evidenced by several figures the city recently released.

The city boasts 31 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and 12 foreign academicians.

About 85 percent of the employees working in the city are workers with bachelor's degree or above. Since the city was founded in 2001, it has introduced 4,730 high-level skilled workers from overseas.

Currently, the average age of working population in the city rests between 25 and 35.
