Three-time Paralympic gold medalist Zheng Xiongying is currently working as a member of the operations team of the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Stadium, local media reported on Jan 26.

Zheng helped China's sitting volleyball team win three gold medals at the 2004, 2008, and 2012 Paralympics.

Zheng has participated in many sports events at home and abroad and is familiar with the needs of differently-abled athletes like herself.

"I used to benefit from the services of thousands of volunteers. Now I want to return the favor," said Zheng.

She added that she wishes sitting volleyball can be promoted to more people with disabilities.
