The 15th Communist Party of China (CPC) Zhejiang Provincial Congress came to a close at the Great Hall of the People in Zhejiang on June 22.

Yuan Jiajun, secretary of the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee, presided over the closing session and delivered a speech. A total of 733 delegates attended the three-day congress.

On Monday, Yuan pointed out in his report to the congress that the annual GDP of Zhejiang province is expected to top 12 trillion yuan ($1.79 trillion), while the per capita GDP would reach 170,000 yuan within the next five years.
