Fangte Wild Land, a massive theme park in Taizhou, East China's Zhejiang province, opened its doors to visitors on July 9 as scheduled.

The 3-billion-yuan ($461.54 million) park, which received more than 10,000 visitors on its first day, contains 10 large indoor high-tech installations, more than 30 outdoor amusement rides, and hundreds of characteristic leisure landscapes and themed restaurants and shops. The park also features immersive entertainment experiences powered by cutting-edge technologies including AR and VR.

The park is open daily from 10:00 am to 9: 00 pm. Visitors will be treated to a firework show in the evenings during the summer vacation period.

All visitors must show a negative nucleic acid test result obtained within seven days before entry, according to local epidemic prevention and control regulations.

The park is expected to fill the market gap for large cultural and tourism products in Taizhou, and facilitate the recovery of cultural and tourism consumption, noted experts.
