Hangzhou helps cross-border e-commerce to expand the market
The head of an export enterprise in Hangzhou said that the enterprise was actively trying to develop overseas warehouse business to win more overseas users. The export of overseas warehouses reached more than 9 million yuan in Aug, an increase of 2.5 times over the previous month.
According to statistics, at present, there are more than 1000 cross-border e-commerce service enterprises in Hangzhou, and nearly 300 cross-border e-commerce overseas warehouses. In the first half of this year, Hangzhou's cross-border e-commerce imports and exports totaled 56.26 billion yuan, up 9 percent year on year. Hangzhou also launched a pilot standard for public overseas warehouses to promote the innovative development of foreign trade.
As an important logistics mode of cross-border e-commerce, overseas warehouse has become an important platform and carrier for developing cross-border e-commerce. Export enterprises can send their goods to foreign warehouses in batches, which not only expands product categories and saves cost, but also reduces the intermediate link, and realizes local sales and local delivery, thus having improved competitiveness of cross-border e-commerce enterprises greatly.
