Special financial services for enterprises launched in Hangzhou
A launch ceremony for special financial services from Hong Kong was held in Qiantang district, Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang province on Nov 14 to promote the listing, merger and acquisition (M&A) and reorganization of Zhejiang enterprises.
The number of listed enterprises in Zhejiang has risen rapidly since Sep 2017. There are presently 278 domestic and foreign listed enterprises in Hangzhou, and the number of domestic listed companies in the city is the highest among all provincial capital cities in China.
Over the next three years, Hangzhou will aim to add 150 domestic and foreign listed companies, retain 2,300 joint-stock companies and have 200 municipal key enterprises become listed each year.
Zhejiang will also look to promote relevant institutions, groups and people in the province and in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan to carry out exchanges, mutually beneficial cooperation and joint development.
In addition, support measures for the innovative development of Hong Kong youth in Hangzhou were announced at the ceremony. These measures are aimed at expanding the scale of internship and employment of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan youth in Hangzhou.
