The water town of Wuzhen in Tongxiang, Zhejiang province, will hold a series of activities featuring local elements during Spring Festival from Jan 19 to Feb 5.

Highlights include a water market on boats where various merchants will sell local delicacies such as spicy salted ducks, smoked sausage, local liquor, fruits and lanterns. About 1,300 years ago, residents in the town began building houses along rivers across the town and boats therefore became major vehicles in people's daily life.

Tourists are warmly invited this year to take part in such kind of long table dining activity featuring hotpot and local liquor during the festival.
