16 Wenzhou firms earn national recognition for IP efforts

Sixteen enterprises from Wenzhou, a city in Zhejiang province, have recently been selected to the new batch of national intellectual property (IP) demonstration and advantageous companies for the year 2023.

Among the newly designated national IP demonstration companies, five enterprises include Saint Angelo, Chende Technology, Ruiming Industry, Red Dragonfly, and Yaguang Technology.

Saint Angelo, primarily engaged in the clothing industry with investments in various sectors, has positioned itself for transformation and upgrades. Focusing on market trends and changes in consumer demands, the company has enhanced its technological innovation and product development capabilities, boasting over 100 patents, including 14 invention patents.

Chende Technology has established a comprehensive IP management system covering patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. With a total of 73 patent achievements, the company has emphasized the importance of intellectual property.

Additionally, among the listed national IP advantageous companies are 11 enterprises, including Delixi Electric and Dongnan Electronics.

Being recognized as a national IP demonstration company is the highest honor bestowed by the country for outstanding work in creating, utilizing, protecting, and managing intellectual property. It represents the highest acknowledgment of an enterprise's IP management efforts.

Currently, Wenzhou boasts 13 national IP demonstration companies and 85 advantageous companies, forming a robust system for cultivating IP demonstration and advantageous enterprises.
