Shaoxing's healthcare network has expanded with the new Lanting campus of Shaoxing Second Hospital on April 27, after four years of planning and construction.

Located in Lanting subdistrict, Keqiao district, the hospital covers over 200,000 square meters and has 1,200 beds, including 400 dedicated to rehabilitation, making it the largest general hospital in Keqiao.

The campus features a 14-story medical complex, an 11-story rehabilitation center, a four-story infectious disease building, and a hyperbaric oxygen chamber — all linked by a medical corridor.

Equipped with cutting-edge technology, the hospital houses a hybrid operating room, orthopedic surgical robots, a 3.0T MRI, and a 256-slice CT scanner. Smart logistics and guidance systems enhance efficiency.

A helipad supports air rescue and low-altitude drone logistics, ensuring fast access for critical patients and rapid delivery of blood, samples, and medical supplies.

The campus offers 27 outpatient departments, including gastrointestinal surgery, and 17 inpatient departments such as cardiothoracic surgery.
