Between May 1 and 5, Zhejiang province's postal industry handled over 572 million parcels, according to the Zhejiang Provincial Postal Administration.

Roughly 396 million parcels were collected, up 10.85 percent from last year. Deliveries hit 186 million, marking a 19.49 percent rise. Tens of thousands of workers stayed on duty to keep services moving without interruption.

Starting May 6, packages sent through SF Express now feature co-branded designs promoting Zhejiang's cultural tourism. The design will appear on all outgoing documents, with an expected annual reach of 1 billion shipments across more than 190 countries.

Rural logistics continued to expand. Over 17,000 village-level service stations helped speed up cold-chain transport, direct shipping, and custom packaging, making same-day harvest-to-shipment possible for farm produce.

Meanwhile, the industry pushed ahead with green practices. Major firms like SF Express, ZTO, and JD are rolling out reusable standardized containers, cutting down on both waste and resource use.
