Starting July 1, travelers from Ningbo will have a new direct flight option to Hanoi, Vietnam.
Spring Airlines will launch the route from Ningbo Lishe International Airport to Hanoi's Noi Bai International Airport, making business and tourism trips to Vietnam much more convenient.
It marks the first direct international passenger service from Ningbo to Hanoi and the new flights will provide additional choice for those visiting Vietnam and Southeast Asia, particularly during the peak summer travel season.
The route will operate two direct flights connecting the cities. Flight 9C6905 departs Ningbo at 11:30 pm Beijing time and arrives in Hanoi at 1:55 am local time, operating on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Meanwhile, Flight 9C6906 leaves Hanoi at 05:25 am local time and lands in Ningbo at 9:40 am Beijing time on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
The flights will use an Airbus A320 aircraft, with a flight duration of about 3.5 hours.
A representative from Zhejiang Spring Airlines highlighted Hanoi's importance for Ningbo's business and leisure travelers.
The new route complemented existing cargo flights, enhancing connectivity between the two cities, he said.
By opening additional direct flights, Ningbo airport is strengthening its aviation network, making trade and travel more accessible while supporting businesses in their global expansion.
