The Fifth Cross-Border E-commerce Resource Matching Event of the Four Provinces in Quzhou 2025 took place in Quzhou, Zhejiang province, on June 20.

The event drew over 400 participants, including representatives of cross-border e-commerce associations, platform operators, buyers, service providers, and cross-border e-commerce enterprises.

In recent years, Zhejiang has been working to establish itself as a high-level international hub for cross-border e-commerce. Since its approval as a cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zone, Quzhou has developed a growth path tailored to the characteristics of the local cross-border e-commerce industry, with its export growth ranking in the top two provincially for four years running.

To date, Quzhou has cultivated nine major specialty industries, including high-end equipment and outdoor products, with 21 companies generating more than 100 million yuan ($13.93 million) in exports annually. The city plans to expand its cross-border e-commerce market and build a distinctive regional ecosystem.

Nearly 20 major platforms — including Shopee, Amazon, and Shein — along with 22 service providers in logistics, finance, and intellectual property, participated in the event.

At the event, Quzhou's enterprises set up dedicated exhibition areas for products from nine major local specialty industries, with over 20 international buyers connecting directly to make purchases in sectors like hardware, outdoor products, sports, home furniture, auto parts, and apparel.

A number of key agreements were signed for cross-border e-commerce projects and talent incubation partnerships with universities, injecting new vitality into the cross-border e-commerce sector.
