The highly anticipated Huzhou Future Robot Exploration Park opened with a bang in Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, on June 28.
The opening featured robot dance performances, tech shows, themed markets, immersive interactive theaters, and concerts — allowing residents and visitors to intimately interact with robots and experience the allure of technology.
Resembling a starship, the park — with a total investment of 330 million yuan ($46.05 million) and a floor space of 23,200 square meters — is a sci-tech tourism space centered around robot technology, offering interactive experiences and science education.
Divided into three levels with sections, it displays intelligent robots, virtual reality interactions, and other high-tech products. In all, it aims to be a hotspot for family trips and study trips in the Yangtze River Delta region.

The park also introduces a unique operating model, where visitors receive a "Future Passport" upon entry to earn points through various tech activities and challenges in return for redeemable prizes.
"We strive to ignite youth interest in technology, turning play experiences into a drive for active exploration and learning," said Shao Pengpeng, the park's operations manager.
"In the future, the park will host monthly tech-themed activities, tech competitions, and other tech innovation events," he added.
