Maldivian delegation visits Hangzhou
A delegation of 13 senior officials from nine Maldivian government departments visited Zhejiang International Studies University (ZISU) in Hangzhou on June 30.

ZISU President Zhang Huanzhou welcomed the guests, highlighting the long-standing cultural ties between China and the Maldives. Both sides expressed hopes of expanding collaboration in ecological conservation, youth training, and intercultural dialogue.
Maldivian Minister of State for Social and Family Affairs Mohamed Hashim praised the visit as a bridge for people-to-people friendship. Deputy Minister Zulaikha Rafeeu from the Ministry of Higher Education, Labor and Skills Development voiced support for more Maldivian students studying in China.
The delegation toured a ZISU folk culture exhibition and engaged in dialogue with students on youth development and mutual learning between civilizations, marking a step forward in educational diplomacy.
