The 2025 Volleyball Nations League (VNL) Men's Finals will take place in Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province, from July 30 to Aug 3, signaling China's growing stature as a host of top-tier international volleyball events.

Held at the city's Beilun Sports and Arts Center, the finals will bring together eight of the world's best national teams — seven based on top standings from the preliminary rounds, plus host nation China. This is the first time since the tournament's 2018 upgrade by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) that the men's finals will be held in China.

The single-elimination format features quarterfinals on July 30 and 31, a rest day on Aug 1, semifinals on Aug 2, and the third-place and championship matches on Aug 3. The tournament marks the first time Ningbo has hosted the VNL Men's Finals, though the city has held 23 international volleyball events since 2005.

A press conference held on July 7 confirmed that preparations are in full swing. Beilun's venue has undergone major upgrades, including lighting, seating, training areas, and exterior beautification. For the first time, a smart venue system will be used to enable real-name ticketing and digital services for spectators.

Ticket sales begin online on July 8, with offline sales starting July 21. A volleyball-themed carnival and citywide cultural activities will be held alongside the tournament as part of Ningbo's "Sports Consumption Season" initiative.
