Huzhou's robots provide intelligent dining services globally
At the 2032 Brisbane Olympics AI Robotic Restaurant in the city of Brisbane in Australia, three robots manufactured by a company from Huzhou in East China's Zhejiang province, are making delicious drinks and food, showing Chinese innovation.
The robots can mix a cocktail in 40 seconds, brew a latte with latte art in one minute, and prepare noodles in two minutes. "The taste is more consistent than homemade ones," said a local diner.
In Huzhou's Nanxun district, the factory operated by manufacturer Motong Robotics is bustling. "Being appointed by the Australian government as the official robotic dining service provider for the Olympics is a testament to our technological reliability and product capabilities," said Bu Zhenming, head of the facility.

At the factory, over 100 dining robots are ready for shipment to the United States, Australia, and South Korea. The company is negotiating larger orders with Australia to meet the anticipated Olympic demand.
Motong Robotics has captured international markets with its customized products and dual-arm robot technology, ensuring both the quality and the intricate latte art.
The company set a record by exporting over 100 coffee robots in one order and secured a 500-unit order from the Chinese electric vehicle company Nio's battery swap stations in 2024.
With orders lined up until February, the company is now scaling up its production, expecting annual exports to reach $10 million.
