An exhibition commemorating the 20th anniversary of the concept that "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" opened in Yucun village, Anji county, Huzhou, Zhejiang province — the birthplace of the idea — on Aug 11.

Covering about 1,000 square meters, the three-section exhibition features more than 200 items, including photos, artifacts, and videos.

The first section reviews the origins and development of the vision. The second presents Zhejiang's ecological achievements over the past two decades, highlighting progress in environmental quality, green economic transition, rural vitalization, ecological value conversion, and cultural promotion. The third outlines Zhejiang's long-term blueprint and plans to build a higher-level ecological province.

Organizers said the exhibition also applies a "zero-waste" approach throughout its design and construction, using eco-friendly materials and processes. All materials are fully degradable and recyclable.
