The Haining Yunyi Aviation Camp in Haining, a county-level city in Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, will begin trial operations on Aug 25.

Located in Hudou village, Zhouwangmiao town, the facility has been built to A1-level general airport standards since construction began last December. It includes a training ground, comprehensive training building, hangars, and research center, aiming to serve as a base for aviation sports training, industry development, and public promotion.

In the future, the camp will provide flight training courses to help more people obtain pilot licenses, alongside aircraft rental services to meet different needs. Low-altitude sightseeing tours will also be offered, allowing visitors to view Haining from the air and enjoy the thrill of short-distance flights.

Plans include launching short-haul routes connecting Haining with destinations such as Anji, Hengdian, Qiandao Lake, and Huangshan Mountain, expanding options for leisure travel and strengthening the low-altitude economy within the Yangtze River Delta region.

During its trial period, the camp will host flight experiences, aviation education, and simulations in order to bring aviation culture closer to the public and build a new landmark for the region's general aviation sector.
