Ningbo, Zhejiang province, is emerging as a new hub for humanoid and wheeled robot production as Puzhi Future Robotics Co Ltd ramps up its operations.
The company's assembly lines have recently been operating at full capacity, producing the first batch of 200 humanoid and wheeled robots, which are scheduled for delivery soon. Looking ahead, Puzhi Future Robotics plans to scale annual production to 2,000 units next year to meet growing market demand.
Founded in a joint venture between Junsheng Group's PIA Automation Holding and Chinese startup AgiBot Innovation Technology in April, the company focuses on both the research and manufacturing of robotic platforms. By May, it had completed its first pilot production line for humanoid robots, and in June, it secured over 28 million yuan ($3.91 million) in orders, marking the commercial deployment of its intelligent manufacturing solutions.
"This initial order will set the stage for a new chapter in our growth," said Zhou Xingyou, vice president of Junsheng Group and chairman of Puzhi Future Robotics. With a clear roadmap and strategic investment in AI technologies, the company is positioning itself at the forefront of a rapidly expanding industry.
