Over 1,100 employees at Soundking Electronics and Sound in Ningbo gathered on Sept 3 to watch the live broadcast of China's military parade commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. Their pride ran deep — the powerful sound resonating across Tian'anmen Square was delivered by systems they had built.
Soundking was selected as the official audio supplier for the event, tasked with designing and delivering a custom amplification system for the viewing platform and high-fidelity speakers for the mixing studio. From May to August, the team raced to meet demanding technical standards, crafting equipment tailored for precision and clarity.
Among their innovations are waterproof constant-voltage speakers with adjustable angles for uniform sound coverage, built-in coaxial drivers for better frequency response, and quick-install hanging structures. These speakers performed flawlessly — even under heavy rain.
The parade's mixing studio also adopted Soundking's MS-series active monitor speakers, marking their debut in a national event. Known for high-definition sound and reliability, the series earned the title "China's No 1" in professional audio.
Founded in 1988, Soundking now holds over 400 patents and has supported international events like the Beijing Olympics and the G20 Hangzhou Summit. "Serving the parade proves the strength of Chinese innovation," said Wang Pengzhen, R&D deputy director, "and adds new momentum to Ningbo's industrial rise."
