This year's first batch of grapes from Pujiang county in Jinhua, Zhejiang province, was exported to Singapore on Sept 9, marking a milestone in its global expansion.

Pujiang is known as the "Hometown of China's Kyoho Grape" and its grape holds national geographical indication certification, having been the official fruit for high-profile events like the G20 Hangzhou Summit.

With eco-friendly cultivation, premium taste, vibrant color, and natural sweetness, Pujiang grapes have steadily gained international recognition.

The county now has six export-oriented grape bases and two export packaging factories, supplying markets including Malaysia, Dubai, and Singapore.

The shipment came from Zhejiang Shengxuan Agricultural Technology Co. Zhang Xusheng, the company's legal representative, credited their success to the high-quality produce and strong governmental support.

The company employs strict quality control with standardized, intelligent, and ecological planting to meet export standards.

To facilitate fresh-produce exports, Jinhua Customs streamlined inspections with a "green channel", enabling immediate clearance and same-day certifications to preserve the grapes' freshness.

An official from Pujiang county's agriculture and rural affairs bureau highlighted that this is also Jinhua's first grape export this year, boosting the visibility and competitiveness of Pujiang grapes globally.
