Longquan shines at Liangzhu cultural creative market

The Liangzhu cultural creative market, a concurrent event of the 3rd Liangzhu Forum, held from Oct 17 to 20 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, served as a cultural feast aimed at bridging ancient traditions with future imagination.

The market featured thematic displays, dialogue salons, and product launches, combining exhibitions and sales to showcase new achievements in China's cultural creative industry.

Four enterprises from Longquan, a county-level city in Lishui, Zhejiang province — Meet Xitou, Southern Song Ge Kiln, Jiang Long Sword Manor, and Boyuan Cultural Tourism — were among the most popular exhibitors, thanks to their profound cultural heritage and innovative designs. Their distinctive cultural products were in high demand, adding a brilliant touch to the ancient site.

Longquan's celadon and sword creations displayed traditional craftsmanship while incorporating contemporary designs, integrating ancient culture into modern life.

Meet Xitou, from Xitou village in Longquan, attracted crowds with daily-use celadon items like tea sets and incense holders.

Southern Song Ge Kiln captivated collectors and younger generations with its unique glazes and shapes, achieving on-site sales of 50,000 yuan ($7,020) and intended sales of 300,000 yuan.

Jiang Long Sword Manor attracted significant attention, offering a range from full-sized swords to delicate accessories, transforming the Longquan sword from a martial arts symbol into a culturally trendy item, generating over 20,000 yuan in sales.

Boyuan Cultural Tourism's display, embodying the fusion of culture and lifestyle, conveyed the stories of Longquan, inspiring many visitors to express immediate interest in visiting the city.
