Flight CZ3777 landed at Ningbo Lishe International Airport on Nov 18, marking the city's first commercial service with China's domestically developed C919 aircraft.
The Guangzhou route, Ningbo's busiest air corridor, now features the C919 operated by China Southern Airlines. Two daily round trips connect Ningbo and Guangzhou: CZ3778 and CZ3518 depart Ningbo late morning and afternoon, while CZ3777 and CZ3517 return from Guangzhou earlier in the day. Passengers benefit from the "Ningbo-Guangzhou Express", with dedicated check-in counters, fast-track security, and premium services.
The C919 is China's first large passenger jet built to international airworthiness standards with independent intellectual property rights. China Southern's aircraft offers a 164-seat, three-class layout: eight business, 18 premium economy, and 138 economy seats. Customized seating, personal charging ports, and modern cabin facilities ensure a comfortable travel experience.
With the C919 now in regular service, Ningbo travelers can experience the comfort and safety of China's homegrown jet while witnessing a milestone in the nation's aviation industry — an ordinary journey that doubles as a step forward in technological innovation.
