Nearly 29,000 fans poured into Huanglong Sports Center on Nov 22 for Zhejiang FC's final match of the 2025 Chinese Super League season and to bid a heartfelt farewell to Franko Andrijasevic.

Zhejiang, which shattered club attendance records this year with a single-game high of 36,996 and an average crowd of 25,513, turned the stadium into a sea of cheers as one of the club’s most influential foreign players stepped onto the pitch for the last time.

Franko delivered a performance worthy of his send-off. He found the net three times, though only his 32nd-minute header stood after two were ruled out — one for offside and one for a teammate's handball. Even so, his command of the match, his physical presence in the box, and the crowd's thunderous response made it feel like a fitting final chapter.

The defining moment came in the 70th minute. Substituted with Zhejiang leading, Franko walked off carrying 140 appearances, 50 goals, and 26 assists in club colors. Fans rose as one. He hugged every teammate on the pitch before turning to all four stands, waving through a roar that refused to fade.

Zhejiang twice took the lead through headers from Franko and Lucas, but after being reduced to 10 men, the team was held to a 2-2 draw by Qingdao Hainiu FC. The season ends with a 10-12-8 record, 42 points, and a seventh-place finish.

After the final whistle, the club staged a tribute ceremony, presenting a commemorative jersey and unveiling a giant banner of Franko's jersey at midfield. For Zhejiang supporters, it marked the close of a memorable chapter — and the celebration of a player who helped define it.
